Reliance Shipping and Export Company Ltd. will be a world -wide organization with over 150,000 employees and offices in around 150 countries and territories - with global headquarters in North of Chennai, India. In addition to owning one of the world's largest shipping companies, they also will be involved in a wide range of activities within the energy, shipbuilding, retail and manufacturing industries.

Involved in global liner shipping services, Reliance Shipping and Export Company Ltd. will operate over 788 vessels and will have a capacity of 2.7 million TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units). It will be the largest container shipping company in the world.
