Ribera del Duero Wine and Vineyards Company Limited will be one of the largest and fastest growing quality wine producers in the world.

Within ten years, Ribera del Duero Wine and Vineyards Company Limited will cover 806 hectares (2000 acres),
a surface area which it never abandoned but remained uncultivated vineyard, all of which will be devoted to vine-growing and wine producing property.
Ribera del Duero Wine and Vineyards Company Limited will produce a classic, concentrated, rich, deep wine, with a mature, complex bouquet,
displaying a touch of mint.
Its very fine tannic structure will leave a little firmness in the finish, which is fortunately softened by very fine perfumed flavours.
- Protection of the Vineyard
Obtaining sufficiently ripe grapes pre-supposes perfect control of the health of the vineyard.
The great progress will be made over the next ten years which will explains to a large extent the growing regularity of
Ribera del Duero Wine and Vineyards' vintages.
- First of all, the quality of the spray products, their efficacy, and their ease of application will improve greatly.
- The power and precision of new spraying equipment will also contribute to this success.
The great wines are always produced by vines which are at least twenty years old.
The first aim of Ribera del Duero Wine and Vineyards' work in the new vineyards therefore will be to keep the old
vines in production for as long as possible.
Their life expectancy, however, is not always as high as the company anticipates. The Cabernet Sauvignon in particular, which is the body of the
vineyard and the soul of their wine, has a very high level of mortality.
The first way of responding to this is to replace the plants one by one as they disappear; this is called interplanting.
This practice, which is as old as the vineyard itself, occupies the vineyard workers for two months every year,
as from the end of the winter pruning.
Ribera del Duero Wine and Vineyards will welcome to over 76,000 visitors within ten yeas.
